Summer Intern at VA Teknikstöd 2026
We are looking for a summer intern for field inventory work in our VA Teknikstöd department during the summer of 2026.
Job Responsibilities
In preparation for the 2026 summer season, we are seeking a summer intern focused on inventory work for invasive plants on our properties located in our owner municipalities Umeå, Vindeln, and Nordmaling. This position involves a significant amount of solitary work and driving.
The employment lasts for 7 weeks starting from the end of May, subject to agreement.
Qualifications
You have or have started a natural science education with a relevant focus or have fieldwork experience that the employer deems equivalent. The job also requires you to have a valid driver's license (B). Practical experience in fieldwork within the area and work with GIS programs such as QGIS or ArcGIS is an advantage. You possess good teamwork skills, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
